NIHC Introduces Industry Market Guide Showcasing People, Products, Innovations
WASHINGTON, July 21, 2026—NIHC is pleased to announce the launch of the inaugural 2026 NIHC Industrial Hemp Annual Market Guide, a comprehensive new resource showcasing the companies, products, technologies, research and leaders helping shape the future of the U.S. industrial hemp industry.
The Market Guide will be officially unveiled during the 2026 NIHC Global Industrial Hemp Fiber Summit, taking place Sept. 16-18 at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Designed as NIHC’s flagship annual print and digital publication, the Market Guide will extend well beyond the Summit to serve as a year-round industry reference.
“The industrial hemp industry encompasses a rapidly expanding network of growers, processors, manufacturers, researchers, brands, investors and government partners, but there has not been one central resource that brings those stakeholders together,” said NIHC President & CEO Patrick Atagi. “The NIHC Industrial Hemp Annual Market Guide is intended to help fill that need by providing a clearer picture of the industry, the organizations and companies driving it forward and the opportunities emerging throughout the value chain.”
The full-color publication will feature an industry directory along with content highlighting the state of the U.S. industrial hemp industry as well as educational features on key sectors of the industry, including building, fiber and textiles, human nutrition, animal feed and bioplastics. The Market Guide will also cover industry standards and compliance initiatives, industrial hemp companies and the products, services, technologies, manufacturing capabilities and research in each area.
Organizations and companies will have opportunities to participate through advertising, Summit sponsorship, NIHC membership and customized partnership packages.
The Market Guide is being developed for a wide range of domestic and international stakeholders, including:
- Producers, processors and manufacturers
- Retailers and consumer brands
- Researchers, universities and technical institutions
- Investors and financial organizations
- USDA and other federal agencies
- Federal and state government officials
- International trade delegations, embassies and commercial partners
The Market Guide will be printed on premium hemp-blended paper and supported by ongoing digital distribution, allowing it to remain accessible to industry leaders and decision-makers long after the Summit concludes.
“This publication is about more than documenting where the industry stands today,” Atagi added. “It is about helping businesses find partners, helping decision makers better understand the market and giving the organizations investing in industrial hemp a platform to tell their stories. Our goal is to build a credible annual resource that grows alongside the industry.”
